Double-flowered Feverfew (Tanacetum)

£3.50

I’m not entirely sure of the correct name for this one, as it’s evolved from a mixture of common feverfew and seeds that I bought many years ago as Annual Chrysanthemum. Anyway, in practical terms, it’s a feverfew with a pretty double flower, and is invaluable in early summer when pale froth is much in demand. It’s exceptionally easy to grow, best sown in the autumn or late winter, but can really be sown at any time. I’ve sometimes sown in June, cut the first flowers in September and then moved the plants under cover for another crop in late May in the tunnel. It sometimes lasts two seasons in the polytunnel.

Height 60cm

Spread 40cm

Quantity 0.1g/approx 100 seeds
