This is a seed grown rose that has become invaluable. It creates arching branches covered with sprays of scented single roses in June, followed by sprays of tiny rosehips that are ideal for wreaths and winter arrangements. I definitely can’t guarantee what will grow from the seeds, but the ones I’ve grown have all been white or blush flowers on a similar habit plant.
This is being sold unprocessed to allow it to be posted with other seed, The seed is still in the seedhead when it is packed. Allow to dry out and mature for a few weeks, then remove the seed and sow into pots in a cold protected spot. Protect from mice and birds who love rose seed. It should germinate in Spring. Pot on for a season, then plant out.
